Meet Our Founder

Gannon Thiel brings over two decades of hands-on experience in construction and manufacturing finance to Groundwork Financial. He holds a BA & MBA in Accounting. Over the years, he has led financial operations for companies ranging from $2 million to $300 million in annual revenue, overseeing everything from basic accounting, job costing and WIP schedules to payroll compliance and strategic forecasting.

Before founding Groundwork, Gannon held key financial leadership roles where he was known not only for his technical precision, but for his ability to bring clarity and calm to complex financial situations. His strength lies in translating financial data into actionable strategy that helps contractors make better decisions, increase bonding capacity, and grow sustainably.
